Great for the price, a friend who is a professional mechanic has a better one but he tells me it cost well over twice what I paid. So for the limited number of times I will be likely to use this kit, I think it does the job very well. Yes I have already used it.

Lets start by stating up front, if you want a tool that works DO NOT BUY THIS. This is a cheap tool and we all know "You get what you pay for". Now, whilst I acknowledge this is a cheap tool and I was under no illusions it could handle the rigorous workloads of a commercial grade equivalent, I did expect that the tool would at least be functional. For my intended job I only needed the 4 smaller split collets of the set, unfortunately for me, 3 of the 4 collets I required were supplied with stripped out internal threads, meaning the pin bolts had nothing to screw into and as such rendered the collets completely useless. So, NO I do not recommend this product, it is NOT good value and NO it is not of good quality. In hindsight I would have been better off paying for the specific split collet sizes I needed from a recognised commercial brand. Read full review

Only good if blind hole is about the same size as the tool. Don't purchase if doing motorcyle wheel bearings with 20mm internal hole. The tool supplied to too small and can not remove stubborn bearings.

You get what you pay for. The steel is not very hard, some parts ar not a very good fit and are a pain to operate. The parts flex and can slide out of the bearing inner or set up off true and jam. Use plenty of grease on threads and collet expanders. Don't expect it to work on really tough jobs.

Bought these because my $300 Sealey kit did not have a collet long enough for a job. Crudely made and difficult to use due to oddly non-circular collet ends. Expanding pieces quickly developed ridges even when greased. Can’t recommend. Will be chucking out.
