    A very convenient bike.

A very convenient mountain bike. Being able to fold it means it's much easier to store or transport. The locking mechanism is pretty secure and seems like it would hold up to most day-to-day riding, while not requiring any tools to lock or unlock. Minimal assembly was required. The wheels already had the tubes installed and they were pre-inflated slightly, removing the most frustrating part of assembling a new bike. The frame comes pre-assembled, no need to put the halves together. One bolt sheared off while adjusting the handlebars. Fortunately we were able to replace it, but the included bolt hadn't even been tightened fully before failing. This was the only piece on the entire bike that caused any problems. The markings on the frame are high-vis yellow, very obvious and a nice safe point on the otherwise black frame. Quite comfortable to ride, once you get the seat and handlebars adjusted to the right height. Overall, a very nice and convenient bike.

Inexpensive basis of a dual suspension bike with disc brakes.

Cheap brake calipers. Shock absorbers also cheap but work OK. Definitely needs professional assembly to get brakes working adequately. Steel frame heavier than alloy. Derailleur works OK.

  • Biking made easy for the occasional easy rider.

I purchased 2 of these and when folded both fit in the back of my car easily. No mucking around with bike racks any more. Pretty good quality. 21 gears probably too many for our occasional bike rides on a bike paths but suspension and disc brakes good. Minimal assembly required out of the box. I would definately recommend these for people wanting an occasional easy ride with a minimum of fuss.

  • An affordable and solid bike. Good to ride, especially off road.. though very heavy!

The bike has solid components, and the quality is better than expected. It is my third bike and is simply a leisure bike. After all the neccessary adjustments the bike is ridable in all conditions (roads, parks, urban, off-road) and is quite enjoyable. Considering the affordable price, it is excellent value and there are no complaints about what it delivers. It does not pretent to be more than just a fun entry-level bike and it does that well. The main trade off against the price is the WEIGHT!, which is much much heavier than almost any other bike! Because of all the moving parts, its can also be squeaky.

  • Very nice bike for its value.

I liked the quality of the parts. I am pretty heavy and it is encouraging. However, there are several points that “took” one star. A little (1 cm) is not enough seat height, 1 cm is not enough lenght of handles, the front brake had to be adjusted for a long time so that it did not make noise during the ride (it turned out not to be 100%). But to start the ride - a good bike.

  • Good value, needs adjustments

Good bike for the price, although it needed a fair few adjustments, e.g. to the brakes, to ride more smoothly. If you don't know much about bikes, would recommend taking to a bike shop to get set up for you.

  • Progear Rover Folding mountain Bike is Top Quality

Had to adjust disc brakes, and lubricate the chain. Once that was done, adjusted the seat height and the handles height. Very sturdy and bike is extremely stable. The hinge mechanism has a safety latch as well as the quick fastener so there is no danger of it coming undone while cycling. To fold up in small package I got a bike bag, but find it best to remove pedals and the saddle. It then folds up into a small package easy for transport. It rides as good as any bike, and I thouroughly recomend this product.

  • Great Folding Mountain Bike

It's a great folding bike, better than I expected. The dual suspension makes it smooth to ride but the best feature for me is that I can fold it and put it in the boot of my car. I also recommend it for quality.

  • Great Bike

Good quality bike rides well easy to assemble would be better if peddles folded in and handle bars hag a folding mechanism this would make it more compact Otherwise very happy

  • Rover review

Good quality and rides well, only problem is your knees catch on the folding mechanism when riding.
