Overall the lift works fine to jack up the bike the bike stays stable on the platform and its great to work on it. I recommend to use the security locking mechanisum as after a while the presure in the lifting cyllinder drops and lowers the bike. The other point is that you need
to be carfull when lowering the bike. It just drops when pushing the padel for lowreing the bike. Make sure you hold on to the bike.
After putting a 250kg bike on this lift I found that trying to lower the lift is incredibly dangerous. It refuses to lower smoothly, it just drops suddenly with even the slightest pressure on the release lever. This greatly increases risk of the bike falling off causing damage and possibly injury. This review is written by a mechanic with 24 years experience. DONT BUY.
I found it so hard to believe, this motor bike lift stand, made it so easy, for me, to work on, both my Triumph motor bikes. I have no bad comments, to say, about this lift stand.
Bought this for my birthday, it arrived in a week, was simple to put together and does the job brilliantly. Makes chain oiling and wheel alignment a breeze, and reduces the bike weight when moving from 230kg to less than 40kg I reckon.

Very simple to use, I've got a Harley softail heritage classic and they are a heavy bike and this lift has no trouble getting it up and down smoothly and even moving the bike around the shed while lifted is simple , lift it strap it on and wheel it into the tight storage area sideways so it can't just be rolled away by some low bike thief , lower it, remove the lift to out of the way storeage and chain the bike down . Simple ! GREAT BIKE LIFT WITH SMOOTH OPERATION.!!
