The Ninja Gaiden games are a staple of an era crucial to Nintendo's dominance in the console race. They're also known for their extreme difficulty levels and fluid, fun game play. There's no point in denying that the Ninja Gaiden games are very difficult and this may make some people tear their hair out. However, with there being 3 games in this one, you can always choose one game or another to play if you get stuck someplace else. Best yet, unlike the original games this version has a password feature! Yeah, that's right, a password feature! So if you worked your butt off trying to beat these games in the late 80's and early 90's, this feature is a breath of fresh air because not everybody wants to torture themselves to get back to the place that took them hours to get to at first. The environments are ever-changing(and sometimes affect gameplay physics), the music is great, and the bosses can have, well, a steep learning curve to beating some of them. It's very unlikely that this title will ever come to the Virtual Console on the wii, and it's ridiculous price is still likely to stay the same which is why this game falls short of a 5/5 rating. The graphics have been upgraded to 16 bit, the music too, but in some places the music is changed so much you might find yourself preferring the original soundtrack.Read full review

A great addition to any collection. Gameplay is the same as the NES versions, but the graphics have been updated, and there is now a save feature. If you love Ninja Gaiden, then this is the way to go. It's a little pricey, but you get three games, and if you've never played them before, they will take you a long time to beat.

Love the Gaiden series. Great music and very fun! Only reason game isnt excellent because its super challenging but that also gives it awesome replay value! Great game for the collection! -GK-
ok if you have something bad too say about this game your just wrong whenever you put three of the best games for the regular nes on 1 game for the super nintendo you are just plan smart and thats why u make the big money absoultley a great all around game super fun
Awesome game, combines the classic NES game ninja gaiden, with its 2 sequels into 1 cartridge. Upgraded graphics are a plus, but the music and sound effects are not as good as the orginal in my opinion. A rare game to find, but it's worth the price.
This game is so cool. 3 Ninja Gaiden games compilated on one game cartridge its awesome. Also music and new password option made the game better. A must have for any Super Nintendo collector.
