Very handy but not durable
First time I have enjoyed vacuuming in my life. So light n flexible, no cord and no bad smell. I will never go back to the old bulky smelly vacumm ever again. And no cord ever for me, it was a nightmare with kids playing with the cord before I got this hand stick. Downside is only used twice already broken down. Read the instructions, apparently there is a max line in the dust bin, which is only half way up the tiny dust bin. I went way over as I was too exited vacumming. Had to let it cool down and use a little stick to get all the dust stuck there out before it start charging again. Also it only last 15 minutes. Just enough to vacumm 2 rooms. We have 4 rooms, so I do half at a time. Its kinda ok as I don't want to vacumm more than 15 mins to get a sore back. It doesn't take long to charge up again. I strongly recommend this to all females. This is now my favourite item in the house. Trust me it makes your life a lot better. Yes it is expensive. But you will get more enjoyment from this one than a new piece of jewellery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Surprisingly bad
We were excited to buy this vac, as we had long desired one. Sadly disappointed. The Roller gets easily full with longer hair and stops suction happening easily. The charge function - doesn't - by that I mean it randomly charges, or chooses not to.. sometimes plugged in for days, and when you go to use it, it is not charged! The easy of emptying is also not as it should be as waste clusters unevenly in the chamber and you have to use your fingers to pull out waste! Hopefully ours is a lemon, and they are not all like this, but we have had too much happening to complain to DYSON but I will eventually... Best cordless Vacuum EVER!
I was very wary about buying this vacuum because I thought it looked heavy to use and awkward but I couldn't have been more wrong. It is by far, the easiest vac I have ever used, corded or cordless. I use this vacuum on a daily basis and even though the battery only lasts for about 20 minutes (on full power), I have found this to be ample. The power head makes it so easy to use and the suction is so strong it picks up everything. It's so easy to plug into the dock and its always ready to grab. It takes up no room at all, its absolutely perfect. I don't have one bad thing to say about this vacuum, it rocks. I have four very young children (all under 3) and this Dyson Handstick is amazing. Easy to use
It is lightweight, easy to manouver and has strong suction, the only down side is the head could be a little wider although that may have a negative impact on the suction. Ideal for cleaning a single room but the battery life is insufficient for a full house.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent cleaner
I was a little sceptical about a cordless vacuum cleaner and was also a little dubious about all the "hype" surrounding Dyson vacuums. However, this little machine has outperformed all my expectations and looks set to become our "go to" vacuum. We still have our Numatic vacuum but the powerhead on the Dyson V6 seems to keep our small home very clean and is far easier to manouevre than our full sized vacuum. I love it!
I use this everyday without fail. My entire house gets vacuumed every day now as opposed to every few days with the big upright. So much easier than using a broom. It is lightweight, and it is so easy to access (from its charging station on the laundry wall), easy to assemble with a variety of attachments for every situation. I am glad I bought this
It's so convenient. I haven't touched the corded vac which I used before since I bought this hand stick. It's the first hand stick type vac I have ever bought, there are plenty of alternatives to Dyson, but I just could not refuse on the 20% deal with ebay/goodguys. All round very good, with one exception. I wish I could get 40 minutes use on full battery, at the moment it's 20 minutes, which is what the specs say. 40 minutes would be nice. I did not research this before purchasing, but the battery after many cycles of recharging will eventually die. Great vacuum

As Good as Expected
Does a great job on hard floors but is a bit rough on carpet (pulled out a few bits of my cheapo rug) but wouldn't be a problem with the right attachment. Battery lasts a decent time, wish it was longer but can't expect any better for a cordless.
