Green and Gold cook book
This book has been around for a long time My Mum had this book so in my early twenties I ordered it used it so much the pages were wearing thin so I’m 60 now and I have a library of cook books but alway come back to this one the meals are simple cost effective to make and tasty recipes are from housewives using what was available to use. It’s a BIG THUMBS UP for me. Highly recommend. 👍

Green and gold cook book
This the best cookbook every written. I grew up with my mother using hers back in the 60s an all the great recipe are all in this one cookbook. You can learn to cook just about anything an ever thing from this book

Good chefs cook with plenty...GREAT cooks produce the same with less.
Old fashioned recipes from postwar where food supplies were short. Women in kitchens learned how make a meal with very little but make them edible with what was available to them. They recorded these recipes from that Era.

My mother gave me a copy of this book when I was 14, I’m now 2 months off of 80. Always been my go to cook book, so I’ve purchased this one to pass on to someone special. I still have one, someone else got my mum’s.
