I read this book over a weekend. It was a preponderance of pages, editing would have been useful in the second and third volume. The first part was well written, exciting and showed promise for an exciting trilogy. Unfortunately, book two and three became weighed down with repititiius facts and a constant barrage of recaps. It was as if the writer were being paid by the page. The story could have benefited from some severe cutting. So much was just over and over the same subject matter, it began to be boring. The excitement was lost. When it came to the last chapters of the third book, it was the opposite, hurry up and be done. No real thorough character ending. It was 9 3/4 of story over 1/4 ending. Not a good finish. I look forward to reading other books in this series. I just hope they are better organized. This may seem like a poor review I dislike giving away story particulars, but I try to be fair about the actual content and arrangement.Read full review
