Erika Michaels is the author of The A'va Trilogy. She graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature in 1998. After writing several short stories over the past twenty years, she decided to turn one of her short stories into a novel. Erika started working on, A'va, The Journey from Tianya six years ago.
