Excerpt from Annual Report of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution: Showing the Operations, Expenditures, and Condition of the Institution for the Year Ended June 30, 1941 New members on the Board of Regents were Vice President Henry A. Wallace, and Representative Foster Stearns, of New Hampshire. The revision of all solar-constant values collected by the Astro physical Observatory from all Smithsonian observing stations from 1923 to the present proved to be an even more tremendous task than had been anticipated. It was nearing completion, however, at the close of the year, and publication is expected to begin by the first part of 1942.
