I can't cook, at least t yet. So people often remark How can you write a cookbook if you can't cook. Well, when I look at a recipe it seems like it's written in Martian which I don't understand at all. I reasoned that established cooks already speak the cooking language and thinks everyone else understands what they are advising. But we n-cooks don't. Therefore, there is need for information which introduces cooking to people at the beginning stage, i.e. learn the cooking language and tools before they attempt to cook from a recipe. One needs to kw a little something about the auto and auto language before driving a car, or likewise fly an airplane, process words on a computer, text messages on a cell phone, do power point, teach a class, do brain surgery, and so on. So why t before you cook? It is with this beginner's concept in mind that I offer my Before You Cook (B4U Cook) for all those out there, young and old, who do t yet cook, but need to kw the basic language and some rules of the cooking world. During my lifetime I was lucky to have always lived with excellent cooks, because I cant cook at all, except maybe to boil water. Now that I am ready to learn to cook I recognized that I did t understand the cooking language, ingredients, recipes, and what to do with all those utensils. Realizing that I needed a more basic starting point before venturing into a kitchen, I was inspired to write this book for beginners, vice, inexperienced, and wannabe cooks. In this book I share my thoughts about the least you need to kw before you actually begin to cook.
