Rishi Kumar Mishra was 'discovered' by his guru, the outstanding scholar Pandit Motilal Shastri, unlike the normal practice of a disciple seeking out the guru. The author worked as a journalist, rising to become Editor-in-chief of several daily newspapers and weekly magazines with a national and international focus on politics and economics.
