When military-experienced pilot Harding Stillwell's plane carrying a one million-dollar shipment of drugs crashes in the Arizona desert, he kws his life is in danger. If his multiple injuries, including a broken leg, and lack of resources don't kill him, he fears his boss, Carlos, will. When he finally makes his way out of the plane with several careful yet agonizing maneuvers, Harding succumbs to the pain and passes out. Several hours later, he is roused by a stranger who introduces himself as Mangas, a resident of Dead Mexican Canyon. He nicknames Harding 'Broken Eagle, ' and the two form an unlikely alliance. When Harding's shipment fails to arrive at its intended destination, Carlos arranges a search for the missing plane, pilot, and drugs. He must keep his best customer, Senator Bob, supplied. When his men find remnants of the plane but Harding, Carlos orders them to bring Harding to him...dead or alive. Will Broken Eagle ever fly again?
