But friendly times do t last when Ruzi falls into a web of deceit spun by the black button spider, Karoo, a wicked weaving temptress. Whether you are reading the story, listening to the soundtrack or watching the DVD musical storybook, the first series of Bush Tales is sure to capture the imagination of the children and entertain the whole family.
Matthew R Jameson first conceived the idea of Bush Tales whilst visiting family in Zimbabwe. One moon lit evening he was enchanted by an old Mashona storyteller who comically plucked a single guitar string and chanted the tales and legends of animal kind; one end of the string was tied round his front tooth and the other his big toe! Inspired by his twanging companion, Matt returned home to the UK and set to work crafting a collection of over thirty new tales and original musical scores. This is number 1 in the first series of twelve tales to be released in the Bush Tales Collection. Today, Matt lives on the misty Mendips of Somerset in the UK with his wife, three children, two dogs, two cats and numerous fish!
