It starred a WWI aviator pilot and expert inventor who leads the Secret Squadron. A longstanding mainstay in popular culture, Captain Midnight has been reimagined as a comic strip, on television, in film and even prose - but this new interpretation modernises the hero, bringing him into a contemporary setting.
