Great first banjo. Needed a good setup to improve Playability. Has a nice mellow sound somewhere Between a banjo and guitar. Have fitted pick ups and am using it in gigs. Nice alternative sound for Folk type tunes

There’s not much info on these out there. Build quality is good. I had to tweak the action and set the intonation to my liking. That’s not a problem. The fingerboard is radiused, which is comfortable. The scale length is 26 inches, which is average for a banjo, but a little longer than a guitar. Not hard to get used to, but it might be a stretch for small hands. The open-back model is a little neck-heavy. I don’t know if a strap would help that. The tone and volume is very pleasing. The frets are level and no sharp ends. The case is a cheap nylon bag, but does the trick. I did some recording with it first day and it sounded great. A good buy!

Decent quality build, quite good sound. Be aware that it does not come set up, you will need to set up the bridge, tail height and check the intonation prior to tuning. The strings fitted are a bit nasty at first but when bed in they are fine. It's a good cheap 6 string banjo for a guitar player like me to jam on and not have to care about too much. Happy Days

On receipt Banjo was playable. I spent a couple of hours tightening the top, sorting out intonation and restringing with ‘Nashville’ tuning strings. Adjusted the neck and now for a couple of hundred bucks I’ve an instrument that plays like butter and sounds fantastic. All set up advice is available on YouTube.
