Robert James Phillips was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1967 and lived in many locations across Canada. Once out of high school, he joined the Canadian Forces as a Resource Management Clerk and served for twelve years. During his time in the Canadian Forces, he earned commendations from his superiors for his work. After serving his country, he moved to British Columbia where he provided his expertise in administration to the provincial government filling roles as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Executive Assistant to Deputy Minister and Project Analyst. These duties allowed him to work for several organizations within the provincial government.
