Jackie comes from a hard working Hispanic family. She has grown up kwing and appreciating the value of a dollar. She was fortunate eugh to have parents to help her fund her education, although at times it was t eugh. During her later College years she struggled to fund her education and this book takes an in depth satirical look at what College life is for the working class. College experiences vary from person to person. The media paints a euphoric picture about what College is supposed to be and more often than t it is a pipe dream. Jackie pulls from her own experience as well as those of her peers and sheds some light on what Higher Education is and should be about. All while comically recalling the prime years of a young person's life.
