Unlike the months long safaris of the past the opportunity to be challenged on an Africa safari wadays has become a rare one. In an effort to find a more demanding and unique challenge the idea of taking the Big Six with a muzzleloader built by a friend became a paramount hunting obsession for Kim Stuart. After successfully accomplishing this goal, and by adding a Big Six hunt with a conventional rifle, Stuart then went on to add a handgun to his repertoire. Over the course of fifteen visits to Africa, some without firing a shot, he was able to fulfill his quest and take three Big Six hunts with each of these guns. This is the first documented hunt of the Big Six with these three weapons.
