Now 20 years old and with the world at war Deanna was given her first adult part by Universal in this bright romantic comedy. As Jan Pinky Dana, the blossoming daughter of high school principal Robert Benchley, she finds herself ardently courted by both sophisticate Franchot Tone and boy-next-door Robert Stack. A series of misunderstandings lead to Jane earning a bad and wholly unjustified reputation. Also joining in the fun is 1940 Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner Walter Brennan (The Westerner). Musical highlights include Love At Last, Perhaps, Beneath the Lights of Home; The Old Folks At Home and Therell Always Be An England.
