Conducting successful business in the US requires a clear understanding of the legal framework that a business must operate in. The issues are complex at federal and state level and the need for professional advice cant be igred. However, a general understanding of the issues allows the business to ask the most pertinent questions and therefore save time and money. This work is designed to help the n-US business person operate effectively when conducting business in the States. It concentrates on the key business/legal issues which cause the greatest difficulties and which can result in lost contracts and wasted time. It provides information that a business would look to receive after seeking initial advice from a US attorney and highlights the key problems that may arise and the vital questions that must be addressed when more detailed professional advice is sought.
