Great value very happy. Great exhaust... note which is not over bearing (No drone in my helmet) and nice cackle on down shifts. Probably in my head but feels more powerful and was trying to lift the front wheel more than usual(Traction control keeping it im check). How people warrant paying 1500 for a motorbike exhaust is beyond me. This is not a simple slip on by any means(Mussari exhaust on my CB500 was 15 mins). This has taken me about 2hrs to do (Im not a mechanic but service my own cars and my old bike myself). Need grinder, socket set, 17mm spanner for oxygen sensor and allen key set. You have to grind the welds on the standard exhaust pull it apart and then smooth it as per the diagram. No instructions apart from photos on the ebay ad is a little annoying but got it to work. Two bolts that hold the exhaust(one inside right side pillion peg and second on left side pretty much opposite the other. They arr both silver on the MT09 which makes it easy to recognise. Two bolts per cylinder on the manifold to undo the exhaust and make sure you put the brass gasket rings back in each port we you do it back up. Definitely need to remove exhaust to work on it. Once ground down mount the manifold end first into position then slide the pipe on the freshly ground section of the manifold then put the muffler on and dont do them up leave them loose so you can manipulate. Grab the small metal bent bracket and bolt it in the right side bolt hole you removed the factory bolt from. Again leave it loosish to manipulate. Then manoeuvre the muffler to the best position you can get it. Mine comes out under/behind the pillion right peg. Then tighten it up and its done. Grinding is the most time consuming aspect otherwise quite easy to install. Very happy with the end product and arrived within 2 weeks of ordering when it said 9th of Nov to 29th. $315 v $1500 you make the choice... 👍

This assembly for the XTZ660 was o...f a higher standard then expected. In fact, a very high quality part. Fitment was excellent with no difficulties and very secure once tightened. Sound quality is also good, having a soft deep tone at lower throttle openings with a louder note when accelerating aggressively. The DB killer is effective but alters the tone to a more 'poppy' sound. Overall great value!

I dont ever leave reviews on stuff but recently I was stu...ck between saving my money for a fmf or mrd and buying a cheaper exhaust. Honestly I dont at all regret my decision of buying this exhaust. Easy to install on my drz400 and i was also a little worried about how it would look being that from the stock photos it looked huge. but it looks perfect on my bike and sounds great. But truly we could all gree exhausts are just shiny pipes that come in all different sizes so paying a ton of money for one vs the other based on quality, i couldnt do. but if i got it the fmf and mrd are said to be the best but i don’t regret this exhaust one bit. ps i bought it coming from a stock exhaust because I was tired of the scooter sound from the stock can and this thing is a beast. 10/10. Definitely getting another for a spare.

Light weight and tuck away under pillion seat. Very tidy loo...k and finish. I personally don't like the brand sticker on the end pipe , makes it look cheap. Could have done better with aluminium badge or something nicer and put in a bit of a cost wouldn't hurt as the whole thing is already reasonably priced. Extremely loud. Way too loud for my taste but most riders will like how it sounds.
