This is a great disc which you can enjoy in 2d and 3d. It has a neat cover design as well. It's full of many special features including The Night of the Doctor mini-episode featuring Paul McGann (from the TV movie) as the pre-War Doctor. Matt Smith and his predecessor make a great team. There's plenty of banter and chemistry there. They are joined by a newly invented past Doctor played by John Hurt which gives the show a real touch of class. The story is very well written: it fills in many gaps and opens some more intriguing questions. I seriously doubt that even the most jaded of Who fans would be able to stop a lump emerging in the throat with the climax... but I can't give too much away. I didn't think anything could top The Five Doctors as a anniversary episode back in 1983 but I was wrong. Ten out of ten roundels (err, the round things?) from me!Read full review

I had been waiting to be able to get this. How can you next love three doctors in 3D. Introducing an unknown Doctor is a real treat. Taking a great show to a new dimension.

As a Dr Who fan and owner of the DVD 'Day of the Doctor', I expected the 3D version to have some good effects. I was right. This is one show that is much better in 3D. The effects are spectacular.
