Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Washing Machines
After having a 13 year old machine which sounded like a plane taking off on the spin cycle, I was looking forward to a quieter machine. This has mostly lived up to those expectations - although the spin cycle is a high pitch whizz, but there is little to no "spin rattle" sound of the clothes bashing about inside the machine. Cons/Things I wish I'd known before I purchased it: Add Clothes Feature: can only be done in a short period as the water and soap are mixing, not at any time. Daily 60 Cycle: does not have a cold wash feature, only 30C or above. Pros: It is fairly quiet, the 1400 spin cycle leaves laundry quite well wrung out so saves drying time. The bubble wash feature, where it premixes the washing powder/liquid with the water before adding it to the drum means my clothes have been coming out cleaner. 9kg drum easily fits one single bed quilt, or sheets + blanket. Queen sheets fit easily. It's easy to use, intuitive, the cycle completed alert is not obnoxious and repeats a few times.Read full review

Pros - excellent wash results; the machine operation in itself is quiet (see cons); very little to no vibration; good range of wash options; the extra rinse option works well. Cons - the noises the machine makes when the water intake or pump out engages are horrendous and completely negate the design investment by Electrolux in just how quiet and stable the machine is when operating.. . . no way it can run when anyone is asleep as a result; the option to manually adjust the wash time which is pumped up in the marketing speel is, in reality, comparatively limited which is a shame.
