She worked as a journalist in RAI, an Italian broadcasting television. She wrote the vel in the early '90s when she was still single, without being able to finish it. Giuseppe Roma, an engineer with an interest in writing, knew the author, collected the manuscript and completed it in 2008, to preserve the memory of a great woman. Giuseppe Roma lives in Rome.
