This book documents the oft times stumbling and backtracking Quixotic journey of a young veterinarian struggling to find emotional security, intellectual acceptance, and financial stability. The stories present a fascinating portrayal of veterinary medicine, and involve modern day women, modern day morals, modern day windmills, as well as a main character with a largely oblivious and egocentric mindset.
Dr. James Aarons graduated from University California Davis in 1982 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He has been practicing in California's central coast area since graduation. His veterinary practice has included horses, farm animals, dogs and cats, zoo animals, ostriches, and birds. He continues to reside on the central coast with his wife and two children. He is still a practicing veterinarian.
