Each day can be filled with a refreshing taste of ancient biblical history as you read a devotional taken from the pages of Following God's Steps to Israel. Beginning with the book of Matthew and reading through Revelation, one will soon learn the fulfillment of God's prophetic Words and His promise of a New Covenant that offers hope and eternal life to those who accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Savior. Author Jeanie Cline has provided Old Testament history with selected passages for witnessing or teaching others about God and His Son and the long journey from beginning to end for His chosen people of Israel. The news chronicles of Israel have recently gripped people throughout the universe, mounting their concern and wonder, as the signs of difficult times slowly unfold. The biblical story of Israel with its election, sin, exile, and restoration is a finely intelligible drama of the glory and the quandary of the universal story of humanity and creation. Added to that, the story of Jesus Who was born from the womb of Israel as its Messiah and the true seed of Abraham, provides the redemptive solution to Israel's and the entire world's dilemma. A spirit of hope is given in the author's daily prayers and thoughts. Reference tools are given for key passages at the end of each devotional that can be applied to a person's life or situation. Following God's Steps to Israel can be used as a study guide for individual or group workshops, Bible studies, or Sunday school classes. This book will make an excellent gift for that special person who has touched your heart for a spiritual reason.
