Catch the gold ring on the side post of the carousel, and any wish she might have is sure to come true. However, Gale's obsession with luck and the gold ring suddenly vanish when she soon encounters a mysterious friend, whose troubles appear to be much greater than hers. It seems that Autumn's father has died in a suspicious fire. Gale agrees to help her new friend, Autumn, find the two men who questioned Autumn's father shortly before the fire, and who Autumn believes may have set the fire after her father refused to help them.
