Pro: The pointer is a very useful feature that I use all the time. Con: One has to shake the remote to get the pointer to appear. Unfortunately, sometimes the pointer stubbornly refuses to appear and it can be very frustrating. I wish LG had added a button to make the pointer appear instead of having to shake the remote.

Its a great controller, but we got it as a second controller so save always trying to find and pass around the one. However the LG TV OS doesn't fully handle two controllers, only one can have the pointer and control the hdmi media box at once. Both can do volume and basic tv on/off operations and its not too hard to reset to become the main controller, but its a pity the TV can't just use two controllers. Otherwise very good and well made. Pointer/cursor mode is very nice.
