This is an excellent machine for my daughters front and back yard. It powered through 5 weeks of growth on her smallish back yard (11m x 5m) and had 2/3s charge left. One of the reasons we got the machine was its weight. This was important because access to the back yard is restricted and carrying a petrol mower would have been impractical. The other reason was that I have been using a similar 40v machine on my house and it is really very easy to use and is capable of mowing a moderate sized lawn.

Very disappointing. Struggles with normal grass in Australian conditions. Catcher opening is to small to collect grass. Mower is too light and jumps with the smallest undulation or when pushing too hard. A friend has a cordless mower and its performance design etc is way way ahead of the Giantz. Don't buy it.

Great little mower! Previously had a larger corded electric mower which went pretty good besides the cord but this little mower chomped through the lawn. Once I got it put together it was reasonably sturdy and was pretty easy to use The only downside would be that its so light you don't take the time that you do with a petrol or even larger electric mower because of their added weight, so be sure to keep that in mind if. The battery seems good first time got through my little back yard that was a little overgrown and still had a quarter of a battery left ,the manual says it takes a couple of full uses to get to full capacity so we will see how it goes. Overall pretty happy so far.

This mower did a great job cutting about 25 square metres of out of control weeds and buffalo grass on one charge. It's not heavy duty, but it seems adequately engineered for intended use. Easy to start, quiet and of course no fumes compared to petrol mowers.

Great little Mower, mowing height is hard to change, but made short work of my small back yard. My lawn was long and the catcher fills up quickly as it is small. But Leaves, pegs, small twigs are no problem. Although I have noticed the blades don't seem to strong as you can see where the steel has already started wearing. Battery lasts a while between charges. It is very quiet It is smaller than you think and some assembly is required but for the money it's a great little machine.
