Marsha MacDowell is the Curator of Folk Arts for the Michigan State University Museum. She is responsible for the research and documentation that resulted in the Michigan Quilt Project, as well as the Museum's African American and Native American quilt collections. The MSU Museum actively networks with thousands of quilters in the Great Lakes region. Marsha lives in East Lansing, Michigan.
