Set in the 1700s, we follow the exploits of Lorenzo Da Ponte. Libertine, priest and poet, Da Ponte learns his womanising ways from none other than Casanova. Seducing most of Venice, Da Ponte is soon banished to Vienna where he meets Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. As the two work on an opera about the conquests of Don Giovanni, Da Ponte falls in love and to win his love's heart, decides to give his character a dose of morality.
