The moving, true story of an everyday woman's conversations with Jesus and the deeply personal relationship she shares with him. From the mid-1980s to the late 1990s, Nicole Gausseron, a Catholic woman in France, recorded in her little tebook the conversations she had with Jesus. Her chronicle of these talks does t include revelations or visions. Her story is simply a reporting of one woman's conversations with God. It shows, in simple yet breathing dialogues, that Jesus seeks a deeply personal relationship with those who believe in him. I Am with You Always, the final book in a three-book series, presents profoundly intimate encounters between Gausseron and Jesus that have never before been published. Gausseron struggles with Jesus' seeming absence, questions God about eternity and death, comes to a deeper understanding of suffering, grieves the deaths of her husband and father, and rejoices in the birth of her fist grandchild. Through everything, Jesus is there to help her ackwledge and make sense of what she is experiencing.
Nicole Gausseron lives in Chartres, France, where she directs the Compagnons du Partage, a shelter and workplace for homeless men that she founded in 1981. She has taught British literature and co-directed the St. John's summer program in Chartres.
