A well built computer that stands the test of time.
Granted this is a pretty old laptop about 7 years old it still holds its own. sure it maybe a little sluggish and slow at times with its core 2 duo but its a solid computer. This laptop has one of the best keyboards for a laptop and the case is built to last. Definitely a big fan of these laptops and wish i had owned it during college would have been an excellent experience. If you see a listing for this laptop and it is missing components don't shy away from it you can get the components for cheap as long as you get after market and not the original. A must have for any computer enthusiast.

The IBM T60 is a perfect work or play horse.
These are great laptops. Built like a tank and very easy to work on if you need to. I have 3 of them. This one i just received is another great solid performer.

Respects your freedom
This laptop is capable of running Libreboot, a libre BIOS replacement. Also, by replacing the WiFi card (I should mention that I'm not sure whether the proprietary BIOS has a whitelist for WiFi cards, but Libreboot certainly doesn't), one may run a fully libre GNU/Linux distribution on it. What's not to love?

I got it for the wife, after she dropped her old computer and it was not fixable. She is happy with it so I'm happy. It looks good, and works good for her.
