Dr Joanna McMillan Price is a nutritionist, writer and media presenter. She is the health feature writer and consultant dietitian to Slimming and Health magazine. She is the author of Reality Food (ABC Books, 2002) and the co-author of Gut Reactions (ABC Books, 2003), The Low GI Diet and The Low GI Diet Cookbook (Hodder, 2004-5) and Star Foods (ABC Books, 2008). She is a regular guest on the Today Show. She completed her PhD in 2006 under the supervision of Professor Jennie Brand-Miller. She has also worked in the fitness industry as a registered fitness leader and she has written and developed weight loss programs for personal trainers employed by Les Mills International.
