Ray Sikes conveys t only his own experiences, but he also gives concise guidance for living a truly Christian life. Writing with refreshing honesty and even a bit of self-deprecating humor, he shares the struggles that both refined and threatened to wreck his faith. This story of sin and redemption is uniquely his own, but his conclusions about what it means to believe in Jesus will benefit virtually any earnest seeker of God.
Ray Sikes has been a teacher since 1987, first in Cecil County, Maryland, high schools and now at Delaware Technical & Community College. Prior to establishing a career in education, he worked as a construction laborer, a street vendor, a salesman, and an insurance claims adjuster. His poems and stories have appeared in various periodicals, and some of his songs were recorded with the band Third Son. He currently lives in Delaware with his wife and three children.
