Best keyboard/mouse combo blu...etooth wireless to replace my 2 sets of wired keyboards/mouse that I have been using between my home computer and work laptop/hub station. The 4 wires that were all on my desk have now disappeared. The setting of the MK850 combo set was flawless. First as soon as I plugged the bluetooth USB adapter at the back of my desktop, where both keyboard/mouse where previously plugged in. The keyboard and mouse got immediately connected on my Linux Zorin desktop. I then added new BT device on the Windows work laptop and it was very quick for the mouse, but I was not sure about the keyboard. I first typed the key on the keypad and then wasn't sure they got in. I reset it again but this time I used the number on the top of the keyboard, not the keypad. Then all good. So easy and quick to switch between computers on both keyboard and mouse. Up to 3 devices can be hooked up to this combo set. The bad: 1. The numeric keypad numlock has no led to show if on or off. Very annoying. Only typing will reveal its status. I don't understand why Logitech has left this very important visual feedback out. 2. The scrolling on the mouse is not smooth and the page seems to have a spring effect. Quite annoying as well. Maybe this is a setting to be configured in the software that I will have to check. But as a first impression, this is not a good one. - Addentum: I have found how to stop this scrolling madness. The wheel is free to spin and when moving it, it keeps going. This can be stopped by pressing the middle button that is in line with the wheel. Now I can feel the mouse wheel clicks moving in each direction and it is stopped as soon as I lift my finger. Still not 5 star because of the missing led for the NumLock status. The good: Everything else! 1. The keyboard and mouse are quite heavy and sturdy. Looking to be lasting a long time. 2. From other reviews, it seems the combo is quite energy efficient lasting several years before the batteries must be replaced. I will find that out, but it looks promising if true. 3. The keyboard is slighly curved, which is OK as the Dell keyboard I had before was similar. 4. The mouse is excellent in my hand. I had a Razor wired mouse before and it was not as comfortable to hold. Price: Over $100 for a BT keyboard/mouse of this quality seems reasonable. I always believe IT peripherals are usually over priced. However, this one let me used up to 3 different devices which is really awesome and so usefull when working from home on a company's device. It is like having a built-in KVM without the displays... Very handy and so far it is working well. I highly recommend this Logitech MK850 Performance combo set keyboard and mouse.

try before you buy. mouse is good quality but too small f...or my hand. gives me pain in the center of my hand. i prefer my kensington full sized mouse which i use all day everyday and don't get pain. keyboard buttons don't push down as fast as other keyboards like MK270. and they don't kick back as fast. it makes it harder to type fast with it. i also use a wired Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard which is amazing and far better than this but not wireless. I type a lot .

Logitech brand has been producing good mouse. I have a few m...ouse and so far logitech is the best. Good priced. Most important for me is it is very responsive. Not lagging. Very comfortable. Its weight - not heavy and not light, so it is just nice for me. This one deserves a 5 star! :-)
