When reflecting back on my 25 years as a police officer, many realizations come to mind. Foremost is the fact that in those 25 years, I experienced almost every emotion kwn to man - love, hate, fear, etc. However, the emotion that was my ally, the emotion that helped me survive, was HUMOR. Not to say that the violence observed is t etched in my mind, it is, but the humor somewhat diminishes the unpleasant memories. The events depicted in this book are true, only the names have been changed to protect ... Me.
