A Tallahassee native who graduated Florida State University, Laura Cogdill is certified in elementary and primary education and has taught in these grades for over twenty years. Laura is a member of the Tallahassee Writers Association, the Havana Writers Group, and the Florida Writers Association. Her yard shows the evidence of her love for gardening. She also enjoys playing the piano, hiking, and reading. Laura's article which served as a follow-up to her husband's series of writings was carried by the Tallahassee Democrat. The Tallahassee Magazine and Seven Hills Literary Review have published Laura's creative non-fiction stories.
