Hephaestus is less than pleased when his father Zeus comes to him with a request: Marry Aphrodite. Now he is stuck with a beautiful, sexual goddess who is in love with his brother Ares. When Aphrodite is order by the King of the Olympians that she will marry the grouchy, crippled Hephaestus and remain faithful to her marriage vows or inhabit a cell in Tartarus, she has little choice except to follow Zeus' demands. But her objections to the marriage are t the reasons everyone believes them to be.
Stephannie Beman has been a storyteller since the moment she first learned to speak, an avid reader since before she could really read, a writer since she penned her first story, and a daydreamer on a mission. For her, legends have always been alive, fairy tales have lessons to teach, love is eternal, and myths are survivors of bygone years in need of an update. Living in Southwestern Wyoming with her husband, two daughters, a few stray cats, and a handful of cattle, Stephannie lives in the original homestead cabin and is surrounded by a forest, meadow land, mountains, and a river which only fuel her already fertile imagination. If she's not working on her latest stories and graphic designs for clients, you can find her reading, ranching, or taking care of her family.
