Fed through 75mm bamboo canes which it chipped v...ery well with the odd stall but was quick to get restarted. Some varieties were shredded fibre than chips so likewise some different wood types will vary in result. The shredder has a significant draw through speed so need to treat with respect and keep your distance to avoid back lack from long thin material being drawn through. The hopper for the shredder is large but has a small mouth to the shredder so bushy material needs to be pushed with a stick towards the right spot to be drawn down sometimes. The bag for the discharge is rather narrow and soon fills up and comes off too easily. Would recommend just getting a tarp out to catch all the discharge, a big tarp as this machine has quite a range discharging

The Product advises it mulches leav...es and branches. It smashes through the branches well but don't bother putting loose leaves in the top shoot as the neck narrows to a rectangular area around 120 x 70mm leaving you trying to push something down the top shoot to force the leaves into the skinny neck. At first I was very unhappy with the item as I did a small hedge at home which had a lot of loose leaves and not many branches which left me frustrated trying to put them through the top shoot almost leaving me wanting to return it. I then did a larger hedge with lots of branches and the little beast redeemed itself, ripping through the branches. All in all, this unit is design to mulch branch, not so much loose leaves, and the exit shoot for the mulch tends to block up which can stall the machine, to overcome this, you can open the hatch cover, tighten the bolt to keep it open and then have the mulched material shoot out onto a large tarp. The mulch bag tends to rip after a short time.

Havent clocked up many hours use yet as it simply turns out ...branches into wood chips and mulch in a very short time. I find it excellent to feed material into the side shoot. It does require a little more use with the chainsaw to trim into smaller branches so the side shoot can take them, but it does create superior wood chips. I have found the top feed a little difficult to get very leafy material to flow. The funnel is a little tight and requires a pushing tool to safely keep flowing. Again I find eaiser to just cut a large branch, taking off all the smaller side shoots, and feeding into the side, leaves and all one piece at time. The discharge shoot does throw the material into a nice heap. I haven't bothered to try the bag yet as I simply just keep moving the unit along as it builds up with mulch. I do think realistically bags are a waste of time to a petrol mulcher. It is designed to handle tonnes and nearly as fast as you can feed it in! Any branches with actual timber in them need to be eased into the feed so it doesn't over load. This helps create smaller wood chips and I certainly don't see as a bad point. I have only really tried it on freshly fallen green branches. This unit does work way above my expectations and im extremely happy with my purchase. I have turned out many tonnes of wood chip and mulch in such a short time. I cannot see any fault or poor quality in the machine. I really like the large wheels and its compact design. Making so easy to store when not in use, and even easier to pull out and move around between trees etc. I can easily spend an hour going ahead with the chain saw preparing all the banches to then start the chipper, and maybe 15min to feed it all in to start the cycle again. Highly recommend to anyone who has dreamed of owning a wood chipper/mulcher.

Does what it is designe...d to do with a bit of effort. up to 20mm branches into the Hopper and up to 76mm well trimmed branches into the Chipper chute. Pros: Came delivered in a solid wooden crate, in a timely manner. Easy to put together. Well priced for the power. Chips well trimmed branches very well. Big wheels / tyres for easy maneuvering. Self feeding Mulching Hopper** and Chipper Chute. - If you cut the bigger branches into smaller lengths the chipper pulls them through easily. Plenty of spare parts from Michigan. Easy to start. Seems Fuel efficient. Cons: Throttle Lever came loose at pivot point with a few hours of use. - Easily fixed by tightening nut, when I found the problem. **The Hopper opening to the blades is rather small, - takes a bit of work to get bushy material fed into the blades. You need to make sure the larger branches are well trimmed to get through the chute. Time will tell if the Mulcher / Chipper will last.- Made with Chinese heavy-gauge steel. All in All I am happy with this unit - With a bit of effort the Mulcher / Chipper does the job. Good Value for money. I don't think I could have bought anything better for the money I paid.

The machine seems to be of a high quality. Very p...leased with it. It isn't quiet but it is quieter than I was expecting. The only Disappointment is the bag not to the standard of the rest of the machine. The stitching along the long edge has broken in several places. The thread used is not up to it. The missus has resewn it with thicker nylon type thread so the bag will have to break somewhere else now.
