Sarah Wilkins was born and raised in small towns around central New Hampshire. She currently resides in Plymouth, NH. Her love for writing was inspired by her older sister, Grace Carpenter's talent for writing, and it was developed over the years through high school classes, feedback from other writers, and mostly through practice. She enjoys all types of writing depending on what her imagination insists upon. In regards to Phantom of the Opera, she states: I really have Gerard Butler's performance to thank for my inspiration. I can watch the movie, look into his eyes, and know what the character is thinking or feeling at any given moment. His performance is what tugged on my heart and made me want to give Erik a happy ending. She has written several such stories and has many in-progress. She hopes to continue for a long time, but it really depends on her stubborn imagination. Look for her future collections in the Phantom Heart series as well as a comedy collection entitled A Phantom's Laugh.
