Darka Watters, author of One Small Voice, has lived a life that seems to span lifetimes. She begins her book with a brief sypsis of some of her early trials and tribulations - a literary act that may seem self-gratifying, but actually illuminates the foundation of Watters' belief system and gives her words resonance. After summarizing how and why she began her decades of study of many different organized religions, she sets about explaning how the Bible is misinterpreted in modern times, how God manifests himself in us as individuals, how organized religion has become corrupted in many ways, how to talk to and ask for spiritual guidance from one God/Supreme being, and many other issues pertaining to spirituality in today's busy, crazy world
Darka Watters was born and raised in Southern California and left home at 15. She attended college on and off for about a year, but eventually dedicated her life to rearing her four children and studying the different religions. Currently, she works out of her home writing and selling her books. This is her first novel. Her second book is a part of a series of books in the, Our Creative Universe Series. It is called Nebadon.
