This is a good, handy size for keeping drinks just cool in the car on a trip and a well made product. It easily fits between the front seats, behind the front seats or in the cargo area (needs 12V lighter socket nearby) of the car. ** Keep in mind that this is NOT a fridge or a freezer. It is a cooler that just manages to keep things cool - it will not cool down room temperature drinks to 'cold'. As it is relatively small, it won't handle a slab of beer :) The minimum temperature achieved after 24 hours running was 22C - a fridge (non-freezer compartment) is usually about 4-10C

This thing is small, just be aware before ordering! I knew from the pictures it was small, but you don't realize how much room "small" food items take up in a tiny fridge. No complaints here though, this thing was designed specifically to fit six cans of soda and that was very clear when purchasing. I've only used the cooling function but it works quite well. It doesn't get ice cold, but it gets colder than I expected. I keep mine on my desk at work and can store a small creamer container, a couple of yogurts, and a pile of cheese sticks. Great for keeping food in the office. You have to plan your food out just a little bit since it has very limited storage, but so far I am very happy with the purchase. Make sure it fits what you want, would definitely recommend!

Mine worked like a refrigerator. Cans of Dr.Pepper got so cold, there were ice particles forming inside the cans up against the cooling element. I had some cans frozen to the bottom of the cooler where the condensation had become frozen. I had the unit plugged in my 18 wheeler and it ran 24/7 which is why I guess it was able to get so cold. It seemed to be nice and cold after about 8 hours from room temp. The smaller size is also easier for the unit to cool. Less space for it to have to try to keep cool. After unplugging, it kept the cans cool for about 3 hours with 70 degree weather. The unit was fairly quite. You could hear the fan running but it was gentle enough like that of a desk top computer fan. If you buy the 110v power adapter, it would work just as well if left plugged in long enough. You could plug it in over night the day before your trip and then use the 12v power the day of your trip to keep everything cold. Thermoelectric coolers require time to work.Read full review

This is a well made, handy sized and very useful product. It can be used in the car, caravan or boat and is power through the cigarette lighter socket. You can also obtain an adapter and power cord so it can be used in your home. There will be heaps of occasions where this little fridge will be used and could be very useful when transporting insulin and other products that need to be kept refrigerated as well as food and drinks.

I'm using this on my desk at work to store breast milk. As you can see from the photo, the Medela cooler bag is next to it for size comparison. I can fit 4 pump bottles and cram my pump parts in as well, but I had to remove the little shelf and the plastic lip on the door to accommodate. I turn it off over the weekend and when I turn it back on when I come in Monday morning, it's cold again within 30 minutes. Works great, silent, and it's cute. I haven't used it on a car trip yet but I can see how great that will be for keeping milk cold over longer drives than an ice pack or a cooler. Again, it's small. I know the description says you can put 6 cans of pop in here but that's all that would fit.
