The book was written for everyone who wants to build and sustain a healthy brain regardless of age (t just for seniors). It offers powerful strategies (some of them potentially life-changing) that can improve and support strong brain function for a lifetime and potentially diminish the possibility of ever having to deal with insidious brain diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's.
Writing has always been my passion, even as a young child - but always non-fiction. I enjoy reading novels and have considered trying my hand at writing fiction; but, that is not where my heart is. I am more curious than imaginative by nature and have always been interested in the hows and whys of life. As I get older and my body doesn't function in the magnificent way that it did when I was younger, I have become particularly interested in what that means to me and to others as we move into our sunset years. What changes are actually taking place in my body and my brain, and what can I can do to either reverse the downward spiral, or at least slow it down? Those are intriguing questions and have sent me on a fascinating journey of discovery. With a healthy physical body and a mind that still seems to work on a very high level, in my early 70's, I am looking forward to many more years of research and writing about any and all subjects that interest me. I hope you will choose to travel that road with me through my books.
