Deacon Larry D. Oney is a Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is assigned to Saint Louis King of France Cathedral in the historic French Quarter in New Orleans. He and his wife and their children reside in LaPlace, Louisiana and are members of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Larry is the Chairman of the Board of HGI, Hammerman & Gainer International, and an active member of the New Orleans Chapter of Legatus. He is also the chairman of the Board of Regents for Our Lady of Holy Cross College. As an author and speaker, Deacon Larry ministers nationally and internationally and has appeared on EWTN, Franciscan Radio, and Ava Maria Radio. His first book, Amazing Grace Overcoming Race, tells his life story and how God's grace saved him from racism. Deacon Larry has a dynamic ministry of preaching, teaching, and exhortation. He utilizes humor, Sacred Scripture, and his love of the people of God, to speak to the heart of God's people in an uplifting manner.
