After the sudden and traumatic death of her mother, a daughter is violently pushed into the abyss of denial. In an attempt to detangle the kts of her life, and the relationship they had, she begins to write letters to the dearly departed. It begins to be the haphazard study of addiction through the eyes of a child and her honest reaction to death. Through exploring her past, she is gripped with anxiety due to the ever present internal debate between nature and nurture. The arduous process of expanding one's emotional capacity leads to compassionate revelations when she finally starts to examine things from a very different vantage point. We all harbor demons inside of our rib cage and there is only one side to a story when the other's metrome of a heart turns to ash.
