Gary R. Pangle now resides in Hawaii but grew up in the East Tennessee city of Chattanooga. Mr. Pangle attended Memphis State University and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He enjoyed an extensive 30-year employment history relative to managerial positions within the construction, retail and operations management sectors. In 2005, the lure of paradise in the Pacific convinced Mr. Pangle to make a life-altering move. The slow pace, tropical breezes and wonderful culture of the Hawaiian Islands has been beneficial to his renewed focus on his writing career. Revisiting Yesterdays is the first book in a planned series that explores the memories of the golden age of childhood. He has a firm belief that there is a hidden storyteller in each of us. Now, more than ever, the time, tools and opportunities make it possible for everyone to participate in a collaborative story telling effort.
