Overall very good vintage condition for age. Some minor wear to the gold gilding. Cup has a little blister to the china at the foot, not considered as damage but a small flaw in manufacture, it is not immediately noticeable. Saucer has a tiny chip to the underside rim and 2 scratches/cuts to the underside. The pattern and colour is generally good, set presents well.
The pink and blue primula flowers have red hand painted centres and the trio is accented with gold gilding and scalloped rims. Backstamp: Royal Stafford Bone China. Note: Thomas Poole founded Royal Stafford in the mid 1800's in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England an area known as "The Potteries" as it is renowned for quality pottery production since the mid 1700's or earlier.
