  More than a phone

  The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is more than a phone. Displays... are easily customisable and there is adequate memory to run even the hungriest of apps including Kindle and Facebook with memory to spare for all the other luxuries. The edge features keep one up to date with the latest news, but the international edition of the phone has a lot more British content than Australian content. It would be good if the location feature on the phone could adjust the edge content. However, the location feature is good for the local weather and navigation features. The camera has a wide angle lens and 8X zoom which doesn't distort even though it seems a high figure for digital zoom. The camera is also excellent in low light. The included Google Play Music app is pathetic, but the Samsung app called Samsung Music is readily available on the Google Play Store so that is not a real issue. Content and apps were easily uploaded from my old Samsung Galaxy S2 to the S7. If you have the Swype app installed it operates very efficiently on the S7edge learning new words effectively and remembering what you usually write next better than it worked on the S2. The inbuilt apps include those from Samsung, Google and Microsoft. However, there is no radio so you are forced to use internet radio which could be a minus if you are relying on mobile data.

  Unable to send msg with any attachment including emojis still to be resolved and a few minor niggles but probably more features than I would ever need.

  Easy to use, good features

  I bought this for my mother. It's a replacement. ...She's an octogenarian and loves it. I'm impressed with its quality and ease of usage. Good camera function and the battery is okay to begin with though with regular use the first one was requiring a daily charge through media watching and listening. The first one lasted a couple of years. For the age of it, it's a nice little phone. I would recommend this phone as I've done a lot of setting up and instruction about it.

  best phone for the money

  I think that bang for buck the S7 is a fabulous pho...ne. I have been using one for several years and my wife loves it as well. It is easy enough to replace the battery too. The photos are of excellent quality and it does more stuff than I ever use. And, you can use it to talk to people as well.
