Spiral is Donna Nicoll's second novel. It is set in and around the area she lived in as a teenager. Cronulla beach was her haunt in the late 1970's. She also spent most of her 20's living in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney. While a work of fiction, Donna has integrated some of her own experience into the telling of this story. All characters are of course fictional. She now lives on a rural property on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, near the town of Bega. With her husband and teenage son, they raise a crazy assortment of pampered pets. From alpacas and sheep to cat and dog, all are part of the family! Donna works with Meals on Wheels in Bega and is their Kitchen Supervisor. A role which allows her to indulge her passion for cooking and creating good food. Her first novel, Crompton Hall, is also available on Amazon
